Handicap Room Defined

Accessibility involves a lot more than just maneuvering clearances for wheelchairs. Even if there's enough room to accommodate a 60" turning radius, the sink still has to have the correct clearance and access requirements, and the toilet is higher, larger and tub/shower need grab bars. All doors must be 36 inches wide. Motels with only a 32 inch door opening is far short of a handicap room.

Hotels must remove any barriers that could prevent a disabled guest from entering or exiting a building. This can include placing a ramp near stairs, widening narrow doorways, adding curb cuts (slopes) to entrances or sidewalks, installing grab bars in restroom toilet stalls, rearranging furniture to widen walkways and placing.

1) Check-in time is 3:00PM. Check-out time is 10:30AM.

2) The motel is 100% non-smoking. Please smoke outside, using ashtrays provided by the office.

3) The person registering is responsible for all damages caused to room, furnishings and fixtures.

4) Children should be supervised by parents at all times.
